Huge pinball museum opens in Budapest (Hungary) was created by pbal
Hi Austrian pinfriends,
A new pinball museum (Pbal Gallery) with 130 pins opens its doors in
Budapest on April 10, 2014. The venue is considered to be Europe's biggest
interactive pinball museum in continuous operation.
At the museum visitors get to play all 130 machines exhibited. The
collection focuses mainly on classic pinball machines, but it also includes
early arcade video games and modern pinball machines as well as rifle
shooting arcade machines & wurlitzers. The collection is certainly planned to be
further expanded in the future.
To tell the truth this pinball museum is a result of 5 years' work of ours,
machines are collected from the US and 16 European countries. Hungary has
also had a rich pinball tradition. I really believe that this exhibition
will help pinball find its way back to its origins (I mean public
availability and use). The gallery will offer an attractive alternative for
recreation for those appreciating pinball not only as a game but also as a
work of art, or relics of an age gone by.
If you would like to relive your childhood for nostalgia or just play pinball for fun, come and visit
us, we hope to see you at the opening (or anytime, of course)!
Anyone (of all ages) is welcome.
Kindest regards,
Balázs Pálfi
